Help us plan a new Wellington Arts Centre

Wellington City Council is developing a proposal for a new arts centre - currently called the ArtsCubator - and wants input and ideas from potential occupants and users. There is an important meeting on Thursday, April 29 at 11am in the Rangimarie Room at Te Papa.

It’s envisaged the ArtsCubator would be a melting pot for all kinds of artists,

THE ARTS AND LOCAL PUBLIC POLICY

Here's some Council information for Wellington artists and creative organisations, in case it might prove useful. First, I have been working with Council's policy staff to advance the newly minted Public Art Policy. This plan, once adopted and funded as a Public Art Programme, has the potential to impact on local artists and local landscapes in bold and
